Bill Bolander (CIC), from our Greenfield office, works with clients to be sure they have the appropriate insurance for both their personal and business insurance needs.

Prior to joining Shepherd Insurance in 2015, Bill owned Bolandar Ianni Insurance since 1984. He belongs to the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI) and currently serves on the local board. In addition, he is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals, and has taught classes at the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC).

Bill and Rebecca, his wife of 42 years, live in New Palestine, IN. They have two grown children, four granddaughters and one step granddaughter. Bill was reappointed this year as the president of the Hancock County Council. The county council is the fiscal body for the county and deals with budget related and tax issues for the county. Bill is in his 26th year serving on the council. He belongs to the New Palestine United Methodist Church and the New Palestine Chamber of Commerce. He's also a member of the Hancock County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 140, the Evergreen Oriental Masonic Lodge 500, the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine.
