Quinn Shepherd (CPIA) serves as Managing Partner and CEO of Shepherd Insurance. In this role, he oversees Shepherd Insurance’s 25 partners, 9 executive team members and Mergers and Acquisitions. Quinn is the visionary of Shepherd’s community engagement, culture and continual support of maintaining a healthy work – life balance. Shepherd has been awarded the Top Insurance Workplace in 2019, with an employee satisfaction rating of over 94% and was featured in a Rough Notes Magazine article titled, “Professional: Opportunity Overflow” on attracting, developing and retaining young professionals. Prior to joining Shepherd Insurance, Quinn was a sales executive for Universal Underwriters, a division of Zurich Insurance. He gained extensive operations experience when he and his wife started Shepherd Insurance’s first branch office in Evansville Indiana. He became a Partner in 2012 and holds licenses in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance.
Quinn is a graduate of Ball State University, where he has received the G.O.L.D. Award (Graduate of the Last Decade) and earned the 2017 CCIM Distinguished Alumni. He currently serves on the BSU College of Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board, Dean’s Advisory Board for the BSU College of Communication Information and Media (CCIM), Westfield Insurance Company Agents Advisory Counsel, Central Mutual Insurance Company Inner Circle Advisory Council, Center for the Performing Arts Board of Directors, Indianapolis 100 Club Board of Directors and the Central Indiana Police Foundation Board. Quinn pursued a Master’s in Leadership from Grace College & Theological Seminary and enjoys staying active in community affairs and various forms of ministry. He is a founder and board member of Wisdom & Grace Ministries and Operation Shepherding, which is Shepherd’s company community outreach program. Quinn and his wife live in Westfield with their four children.
