We are currently interviewing for a Benefits Analyst in our Group Benefits Department

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of all market options and develop positive working relationships with carrier representatives
  • Obtain quotations from markets, satisfy contingencies and install, if applicable, carriers for all lines of coverage
  • Prepare and distribute RFPs for all lines of coverage
  • Preparation of accurate, presentation-ready marketing spreadsheets on a timely basis
  • Maintain client lines of coverage in agency management system
  • Prepare client ready monthly financial reports (large group only)
  • Prepare quarterly or bi-annual claim and financial reports (large group only)
  • Working knowledge of FormFire

Requirements:

  • Current Life & Health License
  • College degree desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years group benefits industry experience preferred in an agency environment
  • Possess skills necessary to communicate with clients, carriers, and prospects concerning Group Benefits
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain and organize electronic files on the company document management system
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Responsive and self-motivated team player
