Umbrella Insurance

Personal umbrella insurance is a type of insurance designed to add extra liability coverage over and above another policy, such as auto or homeowners insurance.

It is meant to protect you from large and potentially devastating liability claims or judgements, should you be deemed legally responsible for injury to persons or property. Umbrella insurance typically covers bodily and personal injury, property damage and landlord liability. However, it normally doesn’t include personal belongings, intentional or criminal acts or omissions and written or oral contracts.
