Jim works alongside business owners, Chief Financial Officers, and Human Resource personnel to design strategic health care plans. His goal is to design benefits plans that fit the culture of his clients and their employees. He is a champion at coordinating and negotiating the best partners in the market. He maintains a fabulous relationship with his clients by having monthly if not weekly calls and midyear review and annual renewal meetings 45 days prior to the renewal of his client’s plan. His clients have said he has a great working relationship with them, and that is proven by the average tenure of his clients of over 10 years.
In 1996 Jim and his partner launched a health care consulting firm, Strategic Health Plans. That firm grew to one of the largest consulting firms in the state of Indiana. He served as a managing partner and executive VP. With over 20 years of experience, Jim provides a wealth of knowledge to his clients.
In the community, Jim currently serves on a number of different boards. For the past 6 years, he has served on the Wheeler Mission board. His current role is Vice Chairman and will serve as the Chairman of the Board in three years. He has also served on the National Christian Foundation Board for the last 5 years. Over the last 15 years, he has chaired both local and regional Young Life boards as well as the Grace Community Church board. Jim enjoys mentoring young entrepreneur men with a host of men he has and is currently engaged with.
